Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre Op Testing

About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Pre-Op Testing provides direct and indirect specialized nursing care to patients as they prepare for their intra-operative experience. The nurse coordinates patient care and serves as the patient advocate throughout the pre-operative experience. The role also includes miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Florida RN licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Walking and standing during most of the time on duty.
- Frequent reaching and handling of equipment and supplies.
- Speaking and hearing to relay information and receive doctors’ orders.
- Visual acuity to work with records and equipment.
- Frequently lift 30–50 pounds and reposition patients.
- Maintain a state of health adequate to perform the duties of the job.
- Make decisions and concentrate continuously.
- One year of medical/surgical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
