About The Position

Join the team as a day-shift, full-time Pre Op & PACU Registered Nurse in Harker Heights, Texas. The nurse plans and delivers direct and indirect patient care, develops nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary, and communicates changes in patients’ clinical conditions with physicians, the Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and coworkers as appropriate. Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services including cardiology, emergency services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, total joint replacement, gastroenterology, and diagnostic services. Requirements

Complete the education required to obtain Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Hold a Registered Nurse license with the Texas Board of Nursing, or a current home-state license qualifying for multistate license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
Hold ACLS and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association upon hire.
Have at least 1 year of experience in a surgery setting.
Be able to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
