About The Position

The Registered Nurse in Outpatient is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse directs and coordinates nursing care for critically ill patients in accordance with established clinical nursing practice standards. The role collaborates with other professional disciplines to support effective and efficient care and desired patient outcomes, serves as a resource when directed, and incorporates patients’ age and cultural diversity into care. The nurse also contributes to quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive patient care outcomes. This is a day-shift, PRN Day Surgery OR Pre-Op Registered Nurse position with Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, advanced cancer-treatment technology, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Hold Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Oklahoma.
Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities
