About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate patient care in a nursing unit. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN uses the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for admitted patients. The role includes interdisciplinary and discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and connecting patients with community resources. The RN may also perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse duties when qualified.
Requirements
- Current registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
