About The Position

Manatee Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a seasonal night position on the Med Surg (4RN) unit. The nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, while demonstrating professional leadership and supporting the healthcare team. The role provides patient-centered care, communicates with physicians and nursing staff about patient needs, administers IVs and medications, and uses medical equipment to monitor vital signs. This is a six-month contract. The seasonal rate is $75 per hour, plus night-shift differential.

Manatee Memorial Hospital is a 295-bed hospital in Bradenton, Florida, serving Manatee, Sarasota, and surrounding counties. It offers a range of services, including cardiac and emergency care, surgery, orthopedics, radiology, rehabilitation, oncology, and women’s and children’s services.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of acute care experience.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
