About The Position

Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join its CCU/Med-Surg team. The RN coordinates and evaluates nursing care for an assigned number of acute care patients in accordance with hospital standards and policies. The role includes performing professional nursing duties and supervising LPN and PCT staff on the patient care team.

This is a full-time night position in the Nursing - Med-Surg/CCU department, scheduled for 72 hours bi-weekly from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The schedule includes every third weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements

• Hold a current RN license from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Provide nursing care requiring specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences.
• Have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and adaptability to change.
• Demonstrate a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

• Specialized training is preferred in all areas except Med-Surg, which is an entry-level position.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Coordinate and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with established standards of practice and ethics.
• Perform professional nursing duties, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Supervise and support LPN and PCT staff, providing guidance and ensuring quality care delivery.
• Use good judgment, innovation, and discretion in patient care.
• Communicate effectively and adapt to changes in patient care requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional growth and development, including exploring improvements to personal behavior and practice.
• Respond flexibly to staffing changes dictated by patient care needs.
