About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Med/Surg supervises, delivers, and evaluates patient care provided by all components of the shift, including LPN and CNA care, ensuring care is delivered safely and promptly in accordance with facility policies and procedures. The RN may also perform shift administrative activities as designated by the department supervisor.

The schedule is 12-hour night shifts, totaling 72 hours per pay period. Flexible scheduling options are available based on department needs and staff availability.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Idaho professional RN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within two months of hire.
• Keyboarding speed of at least 30 words per minute.
• Computer proficiency, including Outlook and electronic medical record systems.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of medical/surgical patient care experience preferred.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• PALS certification preferred.
