About The Position

Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH) is hiring a Registered Nurse for a seasonal, full-time day position on the Med Surg (4RN) unit. The role promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The nurse demonstrates professional leadership and supports the healthcare team while providing patient-centered care. Responsibilities include communicating with physicians and nursing staff about patient needs, administering IVs and medications, and using medical equipment to monitor vital signs. The position is a six-month contract.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• At least 2 years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote and provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Demonstrate professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Provide patient-centered nursing care.
