About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for organizing and providing care to residents through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The RN delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. The role contributes to the facility’s and Essentia’s mission and goals and meets applicable Joint Commission requirements and other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting requirements.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state(s) of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.

Responsibilities

• Delegate aspects of care to nursing personnel according to their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
• Contribute to the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia.
