About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse for Med/Surg/Tele assignments at an acute care hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Assignments may be on Med/Surg Telemetry, Neuro, or Oncology units. The role is a travel contract with a 13- or 26-week assignment length, a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and 36 hours per week. The listed start date is November 16, 2026, and there are three openings. Estimated travel pay is $2,211 per week; local candidates are offered $45 per hour.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Iowa RN license or multistate (compact) RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- At least 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience.
Nice To Haves
- 2 or more years of recent Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience preferred.
