About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a Travel Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/Tele for an acute care hospital in West Des Moines, Iowa. This is a 26-week travel contract with one opening, beginning November 16, 2026. The schedule is a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, totaling 36 hours per week. Estimated travel pay is $2,211 per week. The local pay rate for local candidates is $45 per hour. VitalHire offers weekly direct deposit, a dedicated recruiter from submission through the nurse’s last shift, and assistance with licensing, credentialing, and onboarding.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Iowa RN license or multistate (compact) RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- At least 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience.
Nice To Haves
- 2 or more years of recent Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience preferred.
