About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse for a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry role at an acute care hospital in Newton, Iowa. This is a 13-week travel contract scheduled for night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 hours per week. The assignment starts November 9, 2026, and includes weekend shifts. One opening is available. Estimated travel pay is $2,211 per week. Local candidates are paid $45 per hour. VitalHire provides weekly direct deposit, a dedicated recruiter from submission through the final shift, and assistance with licensing, credentialing, and onboarding.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Iowa RN license or multistate (compact) RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- At least 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience

- 2 or more years of recent Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience
