About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse for an acute care hospital in Mason City, Iowa. The unit focuses on orthopedic medical/surgical care. This is a 13-week travel contract with one opening, beginning November 16, 2026. The schedule is nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, for 36 hours per week. Estimated travel pay is $2,211 per week. Local candidates are offered a rate of $45 per hour. VitalHire provides weekly direct deposit, a dedicated recruiter from submission through the last shift, and assistance with licensing, credentialing, and onboarding.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Iowa RN license or multistate (compact) RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- At least 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience.
Nice To Haves
- 2 or more years of recent Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience preferred.
