About The Position

TGH Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide care to patients in an acute rehabilitation setting. The nurse supports patients’ recovery by delivering direct and indirect care through the nursing process, partnering with patients and families, and working with an interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized care plans. The role includes monitoring and communicating changes in patient condition and contributing to discharge planning for safe transitions.

The hospital provides specialized inpatient rehabilitation for people recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The position is full-time, working day shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts with varied hours and every other weekend. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to create personalized care plans.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians, supervisors, and colleagues.
• Participate in discharge planning to support safe and successful transitions.
