Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Rehabilitation
About The Position
TGH Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide care to patients in an acute rehabilitation setting. The role is full-time, with day shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts, varied hours, and every other weekend. The nurse supports patients’ recovery by providing direct and indirect care, collaborating with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary care team, communicating changes in condition, and contributing to discharge planning. It is an 80-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital providing individualized care for people recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF for its comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation, stroke, and brain injury specialty programs.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- CPR/BCLS certification.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to create personalized care plans.
- Monitor and communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians, supervisors, and colleagues.
- Contribute to discharge planning to support safe, successful transitions.
