About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse delivers direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards. This position is with Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a 595-bed acute care teaching and referral hospital and the flagship hospital of Methodist Health System. The hospital has a Magnet designation and includes an adult Level I Trauma Center, a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, transplantation programs, and the Linda and Mitch Hart Breast Center.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current Basic Life Support certification.
Current additional certifications as required by the department.
Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
At least 12 months of RN work experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
