About The Position

The Registered Nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. This position is at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a 595-bed acute care teaching and referral hospital and the flagship hospital of Methodist Health System. The hospital is home to an adult Level I Trauma Center and a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in southern Dallas, as well as the Linda and Mitch Hart Breast Center. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current Basic Life Support certification.
Current additional certifications as required by the department.
Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas, or eligibility to obtain one.
At least 12 months of RN experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
