About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse delivers direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. This position is in Med Surg – Cardiology and is scheduled for day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., three shifts per week.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current Basic Life Support certification.
Current additional certifications as required by the department.
Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
At least 12 months of RN experience.
