Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Surgery Center (PACU), Part Time
About The Position
Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its PACU Outpatient Surgery team at the Ambulatory Surgery Center at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, Illinois. The role provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in an outpatient setting. The nurse records patient histories, performs diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in coordination with other medical professionals. The nurse also assists physicians during examinations and procedures and operates and monitors medical equipment as needed. This is a part-time position scheduled for 24 hours per week on days. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice.
- Be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice. In Wisconsin, a valid multi-state RN license may be used as outlined in Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
- Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
