About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Atrium Health Huntersville Surgery Center provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and skilled communication to help create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum of care.

The position is based at a freestanding ambulatory surgery center in Huntersville, North Carolina. The center has four outpatient surgery suites, state-of-the-art technology, and pre- and post-operative care areas. Surgical services include ear, nose, and throat; orthopedic; eye; hernia and gallbladder; breast; gynecology; plastic surgery; and urology procedures.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
• Previous PACU experience is strongly preferred.
