About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a dedicated caregiver to work as a Registered Nurse at INTEGRIS Health Edmond in Edmond, Oklahoma. This is a full-time, day-shift position. INTEGRIS Health is Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system and its mission is to partner with people to live healthier lives. The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for managing and delivering patient care using the nursing process. The role includes assessing and reassessing patients, developing and implementing plans of care, and evaluating the effectiveness of care interventions. The nurse may need to float to other units and participate in on-call status. The position requires population-specific competencies and may involve additional or varied physical demands or respiratory fit-test requirements. The nurse reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. The work may involve exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals.

Requirements

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Population-specific competencies.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver patient care using the nursing process.
Assess and reassess patients.
Develop plans of care.
Implement appropriate patient care interventions.
Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care interventions.
Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing patient care, as assigned.
Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
Float to other units and participate in on-call status when required.
