About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is hiring a full-time, day-shift Registered Nurse for the IMC Step Down unit at INTEGRIS Health Edmond in Edmond, Oklahoma. The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for managing and delivering patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, care planning, interventions, and evaluation. The position may require floating to other units and participation in on-call status. Population-specific competencies are required. The RN may supervise and coordinate licensed and non-licensed personnel and provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate. The role reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. The position may involve additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit-test requirements, with potential exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse licensure in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Population-specific competencies are required.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver patient care using the nursing process.
Perform patient assessments and reassessments.
Develop plans of care.
Implement appropriate patient care interventions.
Evaluate patient care interventions.
Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing patient care, as assigned.
Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
Float to other units when required.
Participate in on-call status when required.
