About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ED) at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. The CMC Main Adult ED is a fast-paced, high-acuity 43-bed Adult Emergency Department, located within a Level 1 Trauma Center and Magnet-designated hospital. As a Comprehensive Stroke and STEMI Center, we care for over 70,000 patients annually, delivering exceptional care with a strong emphasis on teamwork, critical thinking, and adaptability. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. It utilizes evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
6 months of RN experience
