The CMC Main Adult ED is a fast-paced, high-acuity 43-bed Adult Emergency Department, located within a Level 1 Trauma Center and Magnet-designated hospital. As a Comprehensive Stroke and STEMI Center, it cares for over 70,000 patients annually, emphasizing teamwork, critical thinking, and adaptability. The department is a proud recipient of the ENA Lantern Award for innovation, leadership, and excellence in emergency nursing. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This involves using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.
