About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) Weekender in the Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center Emergency Department. It is a part-time role with day shifts. The CMC Main Adult ED is a fast-paced, high-acuity 43-bed Adult Emergency Department, located within a Level 1 Trauma Center and Magnet-designated hospital. As a Comprehensive Stroke and STEMI Center, it cares for over 70,000 patients annually, emphasizing teamwork, critical thinking, and adaptability. The department is a proud recipient of the ENA Lantern Award. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This role involves using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • 6 months of RN experience
