Requirements

• Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
• If possessing an active temporary practice permit, must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Satisfactory completion of a medical examination and a drug screening test.
• Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate resident conditions and determine care needs based on ongoing observations
• Organize and guide nursing interventions and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring resident responses
• Support and direct non professional nursing staff through instruction and on the job training
• Prepare clear written and oral reports to support communication and compliance
• Maintain a therapeutic environment by applying infection control and emergency response procedures
