About The Position

Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Norman, Oklahoma, is seeking a Registered Nurse to participate in and direct patient care in accordance with facility clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders. The role supports high-quality services in a customer-service-friendly environment and contributes to a positive resident experience through compassionate healthcare. The position is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Requirements

Current, valid Registered Nurse licensure.
Management or supervisory experience required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain nursing service objectives, goals, and standards consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
Evaluate staffing patterns needed to meet resident needs in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders.
Implement and evaluate care plans.
Identify and secure equipment and supplies.
Direct and oversee subordinate staff.
Participate in duty assignments.
Organize and coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
Oversee and monitor the functions and activities of subordinate staff.
Evaluate staff performance and take appropriate disciplinary or training action.
Monitor infection-control compliance.
Investigate and document accidents and incidents.
Perform other duties as assigned.
