About The Position

The Briarwood Community is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Skilled Nursing team at The Knollwood Nursing Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. The role provides hands-on care and support to residents, helping promote their dignity, comfort, safety, and overall well-being. The CNA works under the supervision of the nursing team and in collaboration with CNAs, nurses, and other care team members in a supportive environment focused on exceptional resident service.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other care team members.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals and routines.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care.
• Monitor resident health and well-being and promptly report changes or concerns to nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Document care and services provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Support residents' physical, social, and emotional well-being.
