About The Position

The Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse is responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients in the Inpatient Rehabilitation unit at Maryview Medical Center. The role involves assessing patient status, implementing clinical nursing interventions, developing and performing patient care plans to improve outcomes, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. The nurse works with an interdisciplinary care team and uses a diverse medical skill set to support patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited associate degree or bachelor's degree program in nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical patient care experience in an acute care setting, long-term care facility, or physician practice.
• One year of experience in an acute rehabilitation facility.
• EPIC Electronic Health Record training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting, and assess patient condition.
• Assess, stage, photograph, and measure wounds accurately and in accordance with policy.
• Evaluate, update, and revise the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Administer medications safely in accordance with the State of Practice and organizational policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
