About The Position

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Registered Nurse at Maryview Medical Center delivers nursing care to patients in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting. The role uses organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions, apply a diverse medical skillset, and develop and carry out patient care plans to improve outcomes. The nurse is also responsible for supporting a safe and therapeutic environment. The position is full-time at 36 scheduled hours per week, working evenings and nights. An eligible sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 is available.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited associate or bachelor's degree program in nursing.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical patient care experience in an acute care setting, long-term care facility, or physician practice; preferred but not required.
One year of experience in an acute rehabilitation facility; preferred but not required.
EPIC Electronic Health Record training; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, document in the chart, and assess patient condition.
Assess, stage, photograph, and measure wounds accurately in accordance with policy.
Evaluate, update, and revise plans of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
Administer medications safely in accordance with the State of Practice and organizational policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
