The Registered Nurse (RN) uses the nursing process—including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes and planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized care. This role offers newly graduated and experienced RNs the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with a team of motivated professionals, supporting ongoing learning and delivering high-quality care to patients and families. The 43-bed medical oncology unit provides patient-focused care across medical and surgical specialties, including endocrinology, metabolic care, gastroenterology, and medical telemetry. The team also provides care in urology, oncology, hematology, phase 1 clinical trials, and palliative care. Nurses may receive additional training and support in administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Patients range from adolescents to older adults, and care is delivered by an interdisciplinary team that includes specialty physicians, pharmacists, dieticians, physical therapists, case managers, social workers, pain management specialists, and nurses. The position includes access to a nurse residency program, onboarding and training programs, technology intended to support efficient care and new care models, and a team-focused employee experience.
