About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Endoscopy is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through outcome identification and evidence-based practice. As an integral member of the healthcare team, the RN coordinates patient care and communicates and collaborates extensively with healthcare team members, patients, and patients’ families or significant others. The RN maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics. Endoscopy experience is required. The position is on-site at Virtua’s Voorhees location and works four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Endoscopy experience.
Knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures, and standards.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to coordinate the efforts of a team of care providers.
Valid New Jersey RN license; approved licenses must be presented and maintained in accordance with the State of New Jersey Licensing Board.

Responsibilities
