RN 2D Neuro PT Days
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the 2D Neuro Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a part-time position (24 hours weekly) with day shifts (7 am-7 pm). The RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The 2D Neuro unit specializes in providing exceptional, high-quality care to adult patients with common neuroscience diagnoses including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), seizures and epilepsy, degenerative neurological disorders, autoimmune conditions, and other central nervous system disorders. As a certified Primary Stroke Center, the unit is recognized for delivering state-of-the-art stroke care and excellence in neuroscience nursing. The role offers self-scheduling and is benefit-eligible. A sign-on bonus may be available for experienced applicants.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for healthcare provider required.
- ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
- NIHSS certification required (obtained within 10 weeks of hire).
