RN 2D Neuro PT Days
About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Registered Nurse for their 2D Neuro Unit. This is a part-time position (24 hours weekly) with day shifts (7am-7pm). The RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The 2D Neuro unit specializes in providing high-quality care to adult patients with common neuroscience diagnoses including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), seizures and epilepsy, degenerative neurological disorders, autoimmune conditions, and other central nervous system disorders. As a certified Primary Stroke Center, the unit is recognized for delivering state-of-the-art stroke care and excellence in neuroscience nursing. The position offers self-scheduling and is benefit eligible. Experienced applicants may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for healthcare provider required.
- ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
- NIHSS certification required (obtained within 10 weeks of hire).
