RN 2D Neuro FT Nights
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the 2D Neuro Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a full-time position (36 hours weekly) with night shifts (7pm-7am). The RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The 2D Neuro unit specializes in high-quality care for adult patients with neuroscience diagnoses such as strokes, TIAs, seizures, epilepsy, degenerative neurological disorders, autoimmune conditions, and other central nervous system disorders. As a certified Primary Stroke Center, the unit is recognized for state-of-the-art stroke care and excellence in neuroscience nursing. The position offers self-scheduling and is benefit-eligible. A sign-on bonus may be available for experienced applicants.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for healthcare provider required.
- ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
- NIHSS certification required (obtained within 10 weeks of hire).
