About The Position
Develops and implements comprehensive nursing care for patients through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans. Provides leadership by collaborating effectively with ancillary nursing and other personnel to uphold professional nursing standards in the clinical setting. Creates systems to deliver care to a diverse patient population, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of medical/surgical nursing experience.
- BLS/BCLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- NIHSS certification.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients, establish nursing diagnoses, and develop and implement patient care plans.
- Collaborate with ancillary nursing and other personnel to uphold professional nursing standards.
- Create systems for delivering care to patients across diverse age groups, from infants through geriatric patients.
- Provide holiday coverage.
