About The Position
Join the team as a Licensed Practical Nurse on a 13-bed adult medical/surgical unit. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care focused on patient assessment, diagnosis, and care planning in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. The nurse helps ensure high standards of nursing practice in a clinical environment. This position is a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and requires holiday coverage.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of medical/surgical experience.
- Current BLS/BCLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- NIHSS certification.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement total nursing care for patients.
- Conduct assessments and create individualized nursing diagnoses and care plans.
- Provide leadership and collaborate with ancillary nursing and patient team personnel.
- Maintain professional nursing practice standards in clinical settings.
- Develop systems to deliver care to diverse populations, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
