About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN coordinates and delivers care in accordance with established clinical standards and collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

This role coordinates care for a designated patient population within the Joint Center and Medical-Surgical units. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and support staff, and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care throughout the patient's stay.

The RN is accountable for all aspects of patient care and reports directly to the Nurse Manager/Director. This position operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Orthopedic surgical care experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Coordinate care for patients in the Joint Center and Medical-Surgical units.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise and support LPNs and non-licensed personnel.
• Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and exceptional patient experiences.
