About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care at Henry Ford Warren Hospital’s 6 Center, a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. The nurse uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, supporting patients and families in achieving optimal health and wellness. This is a part-time night position, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. The position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 for full-time night employment; the posting identifies this opening as part-time.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- Health care provider certification (BCLS).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families.
- Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
- Participate in finding solutions when patient goals have variances and ensure those solutions are implemented.
