About The Position
The Registered Nurse will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and skilled communication to help create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum of care. The position is on Unit A, a 45-bed Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist – Lexington Medical Surgical & Telemetry. The unit cares for adult patients with diverse medical and surgical needs, including patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Its collaborative, supportive culture is grounded in patient safety, evidence-based practice, compassionate care, professional growth, and teamwork.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- More than 1 year of RN experience.
