Registered Nurse (RN)- Med/Surg
About The Position
The Staff Med/Surg Registered Nurse works as part of an interdisciplinary team on a 14-bed unit, caring for a medical-surgical patient population and contributing to the patient experience. The unit is currently Med/Surg and is expected to convert to Telemetry in the near future. The role offers opportunities to participate in nursing committees, unit councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and the Clinical Ladder program. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, on the night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with an every-third-weekend rotation.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of RN experience.
- RN Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
- Pennsylvania RN license or a multistate license verified in an approved Nursing Licensure Compact state.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of RN experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.
