About The Position

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to patients and families at a competent level, using the principles and practices of the nursing process. The nurse delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. The position is in the Step Down ICU.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (or an AHA-recognized equivalent) or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
• Ability to perform the listed physical and sensory functions, including standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, and exerting force as specified in the job description.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
