About The Position

Aveanna Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for a pediatric patient in Delray Beach, Florida. The patient’s care needs include G-tube care. The schedule is Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, for 12 hours per week. The nurse will work with the patient’s family and care team to follow the established care plan and provide safe, individualized care. This is a consistent part-time weekend opportunity with support from Aveanna’s clinical and recruiting teams.

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state where the clinician will practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the clinician’s state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification with a hands-on component; Aveanna can assist with obtaining this after hire if necessary.
• Current TB skin test, within the last 12 months.
• Reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of safe patient-handling procedures and assistive equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric nursing experience, especially G-tube care.
• Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
