About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is part of ProMedica’s patient care team and provides patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience. As coordinator of a patient’s plan of care, the RN communicates with patients, families, and the health care team using open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN assesses patients, formulates nursing diagnoses, and plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of care plans. The nurse works collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and improve patient care, the work environment, and patient and staff satisfaction. This position is in the Emergency Center at Toledo Hospital and is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Requirements

Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
Current CPR training.
Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
For RNs in Ohio, complete 24 contact hours of continuing education during the licensure period, including at least 1 contact hour related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.
