About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is part of ProMedica’s patient care team and provides patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for diverse experiences. The RN coordinates each patient’s plan of care and communicates with patients, families, and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN assesses patients, formulates nursing diagnoses, plans and implements care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care plans. The role works collaboratively with nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and contribute to improvements in patient care, the work environment, and patient and staff satisfaction. This position is in the Emergency Center at Flower Hospital. The schedule is 8:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., with three 10-hour shifts one week and four 10-hour shifts the next week, for 36 weekly hours. The role is listed as full time on the day shift.

Requirements

Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
Current CPR training.
Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
In Ohio, complete 24 contact hours of continuing education during the licensure period, including at least 1 contact hour related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio Nurse Practice Code and Rules.
