About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is part of ProMedica’s patient care team, providing patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for diverse human experiences. The RN coordinates a patient’s plan of care and communicates with patients, families, and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN assesses patients, formulates nursing diagnoses, and plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of care plans. The position works collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and contribute to improvements in patient care, the work environment, and patient and staff satisfaction. This position is in the Emergency Center at Flower Hospital, with weekly hours of 36 and an evening schedule of 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 a.m. ProMedica is a mission-driven, not-for-profit health care organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, serving communities across nine states.

Requirements

Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
Current CPR training.
Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
In Ohio, complete 24 contact hours of continuing education during the licensure period, including at least 1 contact hour related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
