About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is part of ProMedica’s patient care team and provides patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience. The RN coordinates the patient’s plan of care and communicates with patients, families, and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN assesses patients, formulates nursing diagnoses, plans and implements care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care plans. The role involves collaborating with nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and contribute to improved patient care, work environment, and patient and staff satisfaction. This position is in Flower Hospital’s Emergency Center and is scheduled for afternoons, 10:45 a.m. to 11:15 p.m., for 36 hours weekly.

Requirements

Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
Current CPR training.
Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
For Ohio RNs, complete 24 contact hours of continuing education during each licensure period, including at least 1 contact hour related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
