About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of ProMedica’s patient care team and provides patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience. The RN coordinates each patient’s plan of care and communicates with patients, families, and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN assesses patients, formulates nursing diagnoses, and plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of care plans. The role involves collaborating with nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and contribute to improvements in patient care, the work environment, and patient and staff satisfaction. The position is in the Emergency Center at Flower Hospital. The listed schedule is 10:45 a.m. to 11:15 p.m., with 36 weekly hours.

Requirements

Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
Current CPR training.
Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
For RNs in Ohio, complete 24 contact hours of continuing education during each licensure period, including at least one contact hour related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.
