About The Position

The Registered Nurse will work in Asante’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Center (IRC), a multidisciplinary distinct-part facility located on the hospital’s 2 West unit. The 15-bed center serves referrals from within and outside Asante facilities and includes therapy spaces such as a gym and kitchen, as well as a dining room. Common diagnoses include stroke, spinal cord conditions, lower-extremity amputation, and multi-trauma. The center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The role offers the opportunity to work in a positive, team-oriented environment and practice nursing skills in a supportive, development-oriented workplace.

This is a union position at 0.9 FTE, full time, on a variable third-shift night schedule. The salary range is $53.99–$77.79 per hour. Shift differentials are $2.50 for hours worked between 3:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., $10.00 for hours worked between 11:01 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., and $2.50 for weekend work. External candidates may be eligible for relocation assistance.

Requirements

• Experience and/or strong interest in rehabilitation of neurological conditions and other impairment groups common in inpatient rehabilitation settings.
• At least 1 year of Medical Surgical experience.
• Oregon State Board of Nursing Registered Nurse license required upon start.
• Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association required upon start.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• At least 2 years of Medical Surgical experience preferred.
• Previous rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Preferred certifications: Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN), Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN), Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN), or Medical Surgical Nurse RN Board Certified (MSN RN-BC).
