About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director and delivers therapeutic and administrative services needed to care for patients and support Menorah Medical Center’s mission. In the inpatient rehabilitation department, the nurse cares for adults ages 18–64 and geriatric patients ages 65 and older. Patients younger than 18 may sometimes be admitted if deemed appropriate for the Rehab Unit. The role offers opportunities to influence patient care through collaboration with the direct manager, hospital councils, and national nursing initiatives.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse qualification.
• Registered Nurse Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director.
• Provide therapeutic and administrative services necessary for patient care.
• Support the mission of Menorah Medical Center.
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in the inpatient rehabilitation department, and occasionally younger patients deemed appropriate for admission.
